My Constant Battle with Food

I honestly cannot remember when it first started. I guess it is just having so much hatred within your body it feels like it’s your only option. You’re constantly seeking to find that “perfect” and “beautiful” body image.

But when this evil, selfish, delusional mental illness grabs hold of you, you will never find the “perfection” you were always looking for. Of course this idea of “perfection” must of come from somewhere though? But where? Well I believe the media are partly to blame.

In-fact, the only thing I can think of that is more manipulative and selfish than the media is anorexia nervosa in its-self. The media constantly send out images of anorexic women and men, which puts unreal amounts on the public, not just stereotypically teenagers.

Why is it the media feel the need to use ill people to advertise clothes, makeup, bags, hair accessories etc.. its an absolute outrage! You don’t have to reject anyone over the dress size 10 you know… And how many more girls do you want to take destroy and take away media? Mentally and physically that is.

Don’t you think you have already taken enough girls just to advertise your precious clothing? No, you don’t because you don’t care… not really. Well I care, because you have taken enough people away from this world and driven enough people to hate themselves. And you have taken my best friend mentally.

And the reason I have decided to take the time today and write this is for so many reasons but the main one being that I am trying to raise awareness, the media have no idea of what anorexic girls go through, but for those of you that do, I want you to read this and raise awareness make people feel better about themselves before they get into the evil big black whole.

So for those that have suffered; people that have overcome anorexia, siblings of people that have had anorexia, parents, friends, family just help by making others feel better and take no notice from the magazines and books with airbrushed, skinny, “perfect” girls.

I want you to know that the Father Loves you so much and accepts you the way He created you; even now that you are going through this tough time. The Lord Jesus Christ alone can set you free and give you the Power to gain control over all your fears.

Do you want to know how God thinks about you?

He loves you. {John 3:16} For God so love you, that His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, if you believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God sent forth by God Himself to be the propitiation for all your sins, through faith in Jesus blood when He died on the cross of Calvary, Then you shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent Jesus Christ into the world for you not to condemn you, but that through Jesus Christ You might be saved from the wrath of God against the Judgment day of God{ Romans 3:25}

Do you want to know the purpose of God for you? Salvation.

God purpose for you is that you be saved. God wants to save you by offering to receive the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Way, Truth, and Life. The Lord Jesus has already lived the perfect life god wants from you, so all you have to do is receive Jesus, who did all the work for you. Jesus is already the only acceptable sacrifice to God.

Do you also want to know what the barrier between you and God is? Sin {Romans 2:23; 6:23} For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

But I know you will like to know the good news, and what the Lord has done for you. The Lord Jesus Has died for all your sins, and has the power to forgive you all your sins before God you have committed.

Now I know the Lord is leading you to receive Him as your personal Lord and Savior. All you have to do is talk to the Lord. Tell God that you agree with Him, and that you have sinned. Then ask God to forgive you for all your sins, and thank Him for sending His Son to die for your sins on the Cross. Ask the Lord Jesus to come into to life and heart, to become your Lord and Savior, and conform you into the Image and likeness of God in Jesus name.
