The Well of Stars

The Well of Stars was written by Lily Susanna

This is around my 17th song out of 20. I usually write Grunge songs, but I was in the mood for a change. It is about my own quest for self-esteem, my past, and more… it’s got a lot of psychedelic jokes in it 😀

Actually I think it’s awful…

I’m 13, and I sing and play guitar in a band. I wrote this all myself.

(Guitar Intro)

Verse 1

The Footsteps on her vapor face lead to Indigo Nodd
Idylliad calls the truth of who these orchids really are
The Ladder leads but no-one knows
The time it takes or how it goes
But if you fall as legend tells
Just walk the wall of stars
(Guitar Pre-Chorus)

Chorus

Don’t plant yourself down as a weed in —–\s (missing word) back garden
You’re born to be the ivy that climbs until the end
Don’t plant yourself down as a weed, somewhere along the way
You’re born to be the ivy that climbs until the end.

Verse 2

And as you go within you find the doors the mome-raths mold
So then you ask your beanstalk and all that’s not Gold dissolves
The fishermen that you can see
Are catching all their memories
So if you want a summary
You are a well of stars

Pre-Chorus

Bo-Peep is Courtney
Trees are Screaming

CHORUS

Bridge

Yeah there’s moss on the wall to clean
And it can get to wet to sleep
And if he’s black he’s explosive (note: refering to goths)
But the sky’s orange and pink and green
Yes the sky’s orange and pink and green

(Guitar Solo)

CHORUS X 2

End

But the sky’s orange and pink and green
Yes the sky’s orange and pink and green
